Introduction


Human resource management is considered as the strategic approach which is used by the HR manager for managing all workers within the company in order to gain competitive advantages. This approach is helpful in developing positive relation among employees and employer. Present PPT is based on ASDA, which supermarket established in UK and belongs to retail industry. This PPT covers various topic such as  employee relation, role of HRM, problems faced by ASDA and its effective solutions.

1. Employee  relation and Role of HRM

Employees relation refers to the valuable efforts of organization for developing positive relationship among employees and employer by treating at individual fairly at work place.
Role of HRM
Human resource management plays crucial role in organization which emphasize on managing all recruitment, hiring employees, building positive working environment at workplace, resolving issues of employees etc.

2 Background of company and situation.


ASDA is among the renown supermarket which belong to retail industry. This organization was established in 1949 and is hardhearted at Leeds, West Yorkshire. The head human resources manager of the company deals with approximately 165,000 employees who belong to various departments. It has been observed by the HR manager that employees in the organization are not able to perform effectively due to increase in conflict at working place. This impacts negatively on productivity as well as sales of ASDA.
